Before you order

The bits worth knowing

Only what the maker actually states. Anything missing? Just ask — we answer fast.

In the set
The lit web, the furry spider that sits on it, and the remote.
Power
Three AA batteries. There is no mains cable, which is what lets it go on a window or a fence rather than near a socket.
Lighting
70 LEDs, eight modes and ten brightness levels. Purple or warm yellow — you choose the colour when you order, and the web itself is the same either way.
Weather
Rated IP44. That means rain is fine and a hose is not — it is splash-resistant, not waterproof.

Good to know

Questions before you buy

How big is it?
The web is 3.28 ft across, which is a shade over a metre. Hung on a door or a window it fills most of it.
Purple or warm yellow — what is the difference?
Only the colour of the light. The web, the spider and the remote are identical, so pick whichever suits the wall you have in mind.
Do I need to plug it in?
No. It runs on three AA batteries, which is the reason it can go outside or on a window without a cable trailing back to a socket.
Are the batteries included?
The supplier does not say, so we will not claim it either way. Have three AA batteries to hand and you are covered whichever it turns out to be.
Can it stay outside?
It is rated IP44, so rain will not hurt it. Do not put it under a hose or leave it standing in water.
What does the remote do?
Switches between the eight lighting modes and the ten brightness levels, so you are not reaching up to the web every time you want to change it.
