A small shelf, on purpose
We buy the toy first
Every toy on the shelf was ordered, unpacked and played with here before it went up. If it did not survive that, it never went up — which is the whole reason the list is three items long and not three hundred.
One at a time, and some don't make it
A shop with thousands of listings has not vouched for any of them. We would rather add one toy a month and be able to answer any question about it than fill a catalogue we have never opened.
We write what we can back up
If we have not measured it, you will not read it here. That is why some of our pages say we don't know something — the battery life on the train set, for one — instead of repeating a number off a supplier sheet.
The price at checkout is the price
Shipping across the United States is free and any import duties or taxes are on us. Thirty days to send it back if it is not what you hoped for, and a tracking number by email the day it ships.

One address, answered by a person
There is no ticket queue and no bot. Email the address below and you will get a reply from whoever tested the toy you are asking about — usually the same day, and about the actual question.
